He remains haunted by the events of January 2023 when five year old Cora, three year old Dawson, and eight month old Callan were killed.
The deadlock occurred after a week of deliberations in Plymouth Superior Court, ending in what reports suggest was an eleven to one split among the jurors. While Lindsay Clancy has admitted to the killings, her defense team argued she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and should be found legally insane. The tension peaked when defense attorneys attempted to challenge a single holdout juror, eventually filing an emergency appeal with the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to prevent the mistrial.
