DWCS Results: Season 10, Week 2

The Meta APEX in Las Vegas played host to another electric night of action on Tuesday as the second week of Dana White’s Contender Series season ten delivered several explosive finishes. The evening was highlighted by a high stakes welterweight main event featuring Kaik Brito and Namo Fazil. While Fazil entered the cage coming off a dominant submission victory at an MVP MMA event, he ultimately couldn’t withstand the power of Brito. In a dramatic conclusion, Brito secured his place in the spotlight with a devastating knockout punch just twelve seconds into the third round. It served as redemption for Brito, who had previously fallen short during a previous stint on the series back in 2023 before going on to claim an Oktagon championship.

The co-main event saw a thrilling battle between middleweights Douglas Rodrigues and Trent Miller that ended abruptly in favor of Miller. After navigating the first frame, Miller locked in a precise Von Flue choke early in the second round, forcing Rodrigues to tap out at the one minute mark. This result added to a night defined by efficiency and aggression, as many fighters looked to make an immediate impression on UFC president Dana White through definitive stoppages rather than long decisions.

Other standout performances included Christian Perez, who stopped Logan Paxton via TKO punches midway through the second round, and Alik Lorenz, who wasted little time taking out Mahamed Aly with a first round TKO. Not every fight ended in a finish however, as Roman Puga managed to grind out a hard fought win over Taner Trembley. Puga relied on consistent pressure and control to earn a clean sweep across all three judges’ scorecards with unanimous 29到28 decisions. As these athletes leave Las Vegas, they now wait to see whose performance earned them that coveted six figure contract.
